This was the view from the balcony of our hostel. See, we got to the hostel at night and couldn’t see all this because it was dark. And the room was hot, so we slept on the balcony. In the morning we woke up, and saw all this. We later found out there was A/C in the room.

Climbing to the top of Masada at 3:30AM. Totally worth only getting two hours of sleep.
